MM FOOD?

Photobucket

So I payed that new record store around my way another visit. They're pretty much used to seeing me there now. Was happy to find out that they had the Re-issue of MF DOOM'S album "MM..FOOD?". This shop is relieving my thirst for underground music. To better illustrate what's so special about the re-issue, I've accompanied this post with a video showing the complete package.....

Song: MF DOOM ft. COUNT BASS D - POTHOLDERS

The second Cd includes One hour footage of MF DOOM on the DRIVE Tour. Heres some of the footage of DOOM performing at B.B King's in New York City.

Go Get Your Copy!!

Ronald Jenkees

Musical Genius this man is! Ronald Jenkees, some guy I stumbled upon on the net, has got to be one of the most brilliant keyboardists I've heard from in a while. He has a style of first making his beats on FL Studio 7 (Formerly known as Fruity Loops) and then improvising on these beats using his keyboard. Maybe I'm exaggerating his skill, maybe he is that ill. You Decide.

The Foulness

here's a rare but classic Nas track ft Nature(before he hopped on Hov's nuts) from an old DJ Clue mixtape. if you listen closely you can see how much Nas influenced Nature's style. enjoy this foul shit....

Jay Love Japan!

Jay Love Japan

A new record shop opened in my hood about last week or so, so me and my bro went to go see what type of music they had. I was shocked to find Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). But what i was more shocked to find was "Jay Love Japan", let alone Dilla music of any sort because around here, you're either 'gettin lite' or dick ridin Lil Wayne. It just so happened that the dude working in the shop was a big Jay Dee (J Dilla) fan. The album is short but sweet. Dilla continues to blur the line between DJ cutting and Beatmaking. As far as the Album title goes, I took it as him basically saying what most real artists who are overlooked by a US market due to lack of gimicks say. “Overseaes has more love” For whatever reason I think its fair to say he loved Japanese culture.

Here's A Short Vid For "Can't You See"

I Know...

Artist: Jay-Z
Album: American Gangster

Watch It!

PARIS, TOKYO

Finally, the video to my first favorite song off of "The Cool". This track is smooth enough for your girl to like but won't make you feel like a softee. Paris, Tokyo is what 'Sunshine' was to "Food & Liquor" but this has more edginess to it. Hope yall enjoy it as much as I do.

Shouts To Chrissy

Lupe Feat. Gemini - We On

One of Gemini's New singles. Hailing from Gemini's new album "Troubles Of The World" I like this song because of the uptempo beat, the machine gun lyrics and the Thunder Cats Sample. Two Of Chi-Town's Illest.
